As the wedding preparations for Saad began in the haveli, the silence between Hania and Saad became almost unbearable. They met at family dinners, passing dishes and exchanging formal greetings, while their hearts were breaking inside. One evening, as the rain poured over the courtyard, Hania stood in the veranda, tears silently mixing with the raindrops on her face. Saad walked up behind her, holding an umbrella. 'Hania, you need to go inside,' he said softly. Hania did not turn. 'Why do you care, Saad? Your path is decided.' Saad took a deep breath, his voice cracking.
